Low is a modular, chromatic display typeface derrived from a loose approximation of the forms of Neutraface 2 Display Titling. Its primary purpose is to simulate a low-polygonal computer-generated look by layering its 5 primary “weights” intended to be filled with 5 values of the same color.
More of an illustration project than a type design project, I used it as an opportunity to learn the basics of font production. Time permitting, I think it would be interesting to revisit this project and make a low poly typeface from scratch using my own forms in the near future.

Rebrand of Soul Outsider Records.
At the heart of the identity is a bespoke typeface called NOMINAL. It came about from the idea of 'zeroing out' all of the parameters of your musical routine and approaching things from a different perspective. It has generally overstated punctuation and diacritics. It has a tendency to misbehave. Underlining and binding in a box of the same line weight are encouraged.
